Part of SEEN’s leadership team from day one, Alexandre understood early on what secret sauce was needed to make a hyper-social venue like SEEN work in Bangkok: a combination of winning food and personality. His genuine warmth, spontaneity and organic presence in the dining room are the perfect match for SEEN’s spectacular sunsets, fashionable DJs and the lively happy hour crowd. Drawing inspiration from the original recipes of Olivier da Costa – one of Portugal’s most successful chefpreneurs and SEEN founder – Alexandre dreamed up a menu that is playful, exciting and, naturally, perfect for sharing.
Born in Marseille in the south of France, Alexandre grew up cooking alongside his mother in a city that many consider one of France’s culinary capitals. From his mother’s kitchen, Alexandre graduated to working in some of France’s

After travelling the world in her twenties and gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience while doing so, Nuch enrolled herself on a course, which after a lot of hard work and determination, resulted in her being awarded with a ‘Certified Sommelier’ certificate from the Court of Master Sommeliers, in 2017. This achievement was the catalyst that would pave the way for numerous awards and accolades including the Chilean Wine Trophy – 2019 and Thailand’s Best Sommelier – 2019; being the first (and only) female to have ever received this coveted award. For SEEN Restaurant and Bar, Khun Nuch leverages on her wisdom (and indeed her feminin
Regular guests to SEEN Restaurant and Bar would I’m sure have met Pakin, SEEN's Wine Guru. What you might be surprised to discover however, is that Pakin's childhood was spent high in the mountains of Chiang Rai, where he grew up in an Akha Hilltribe community. Well known for their bright costumes and unusual headdresses, the Akha live semi-nomadic lifestyles, growing crops and raising livestock. Not the kind of upbringing you would usually associate with budding young oenophiles. Nevertheless, at just 20 years old, and with a pack on his back, Pakin walked off that mountain and has never looked back. While working as a server in an Italian restaurant here in the city, his passion for the grape developed and now with half a dozen courses and competitions under his belt, his career in wine is looking rosé…
